End-to-End Encryption

Your messages are protected with industry-standard encryption:

  • All messages are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
  • Data in transit is protected with TLS 1.3
  • Encryption keys are securely managed and rotated regularly

Multi-Step Verification

Messages are not delivered after a single missed check-in. Our verification process ensures:

  • Multiple check-in reminders over 90+ days before any action is taken
  • Trusted contacts (if added) are asked to verify before delivery
  • If no trusted contacts are added, delivery happens only after the waiting period ends

Secure Infrastructure

We use enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure:

  • Hosted on Google Cloud Platform with SOC 2 compliance
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Automated backups with encryption

Zero-Access Policy

LaterWill staff cannot read your messages. We have implemented technical controls that prevent unauthorized access, even by our own team.
